The Altar Guild are the “holy house-keepers” of our community. They prepare and maintain everything that is necessary for the Holy Eucharist or any of the sacraments. They set-up and clean-up. The worship services could not function smoothly without the dedicated volunteers of this ministry. In addition, they have fun while they are working.
The Altar Guild has posted a Flower Chart on the back door of the church. Anyone who would like to donate flowers on a specific date in memory, in honor, a birthday, an anniversary, please sign up on the Flower Chart, write a check for $25 to the church, with “flowers” on the memo line and give to church office. For more information contact Pam Eads.
We are always ready to accept new members to our ministry. Our Altar Guild works in assigned teams designated for each month – usually teams of two. New members receive training and guidance from the team members, as well as available manuals and illustrations and check lists to ensure the correct steps are completed. It’s a painless process, but the most rewarding contribution you can make to your church and to your God.
